The University of Passau enjoys global visibility and a high reputation as an academic centre in the heart of Europe thanks to its excellent research and dense international network.  The University has adopted an interdisciplinary perspective on Europe that addresses the societal, ecological, economic, cultural and political dynamics in Europe. The Science Hub for Europe (SHE) was founded with the aim of further sharpening and expanding this European profile.  Together with ten universities from eight countries the University of Passau wants to promote responsible innovation and research ethics
