"In my research, I focus on the visual analysis of complex volumetric and abstract data, particularly of primary X-ray computer tomography data as well as secondary data derived from it. My particular interests currently focus on visual parameter space analysis of models, algorithms or data analysis pipelines (e.g., study and visualisation of parameter sensitivities), the visual analysis and comparison of complex ensemble data and individual ensemble members, as well as immersive analytics, virtual and augmented reality in visualisation and, in connection with that, the development of appropriate visual metaphors and techniques of interaction."
